sameen,

If you want an nVidia Chipset for your mobo, go to the nVidia Website and see what Chipsets they have X64 Drivers for.

If you want an Intel Chipset for your mobo, go to the Intel Website and see what Chipsets they have X64 Drivers for.

If you want an Via Chipset for your mobo, go to the Via Website and see what Chipsets they have X64 Drivers for.

If you want an ATI Chipset for your mobo, go to the ATI Website and see what Chipsets they have X64 Drivers for.

If you want an AMD Chipset for your mobo, go to the AMD Website and see what Chipsets they have X64 Drivers for.

etc, etc, etc.

Now when you have the chipset you want, go to the MSI Website and get a mobo with that chipset. It is that simple.

Take Care,

Richard

You're question was too vague. Just about any of them can run Vista x64 but most people will tell you to use XP x64 instead of Vista x64. As far as ATI or nVidea I think Richard and Russ thought you meant chipset not video card. For the video card what ever you prefer will work. If you like nVidea better than ATI there is no problem using it on the K9A2 MB you have chosen.

That wasn't your original question. Did you click on the links provided? If there are drivers available for Vista 32/64, then it is supported

Damn, I thought I had covered all the bases with that reply and by reading the post, you would have had the links to check GeForce as well as Radeon Vid Cards too.

I guess my post was too vague and was missed by sameen.

And you made quite an effort, too, Richard!  That list should come handy on many an occassion. Perhaps you should make the tags a bit more easy to see.

Totally off: 'Easy-to-see' reminds me of eavesdropping. We have a somewhat identical Swedish dialect word for it, öfsadropp or öfsadröpp meaning the same. Do you all know the originsof the word? I do! Could make an off the chart Grousey.

The tags? Oh! the hotlinks! I often will flank mine with > marks, >>link<<, or make it red. Sometimes I've found the default color the forum assigns to links hard to discern.
