1) MS-7522 is X58 Platinum (not the Platinum SLI MoBo) *Correction - Both are "Series" MS-7522 (v1.X) Mainboards
2) MSI's WebSite will have their latest version listed under "BIOS" for this board
3) It should be in the manual. (if you don't have a manual, a downloadable copy should be available at MSI's WebSite).
4) Your Welcome!  :-))

I think CPU-Z is simply showing inaccurate information.

The X58 Platinum SLI has the same model number and PCB-Version as the non-SLI X58 Platinum.  However, the SLI version uses difference BIOS Releases (A7522IMS.3xx [v3.xx]).

My bad. The obvious lack of your self research got the better of me. I do not take helping, if I can, lightly. This is new technology, & a lot of expertise is in short supply. I downloaded the manual on this board & read the bios section, & in CMOS Setup, you should find an "Enable" setting for Turbo Boost. If you don't, please contact MSI Tech Staff @ http://ocss.msi.com.tw Also, (in your manual), is a reference under "Intel Turbo Boost Tech", which clearly states "for further information please refer to Intel's official website". By your original post, CPU-Z says it's an SLI? What did you buy? Does it say on the retail box? At MSI's website, the X58 Platinum (not the SLI), has version 1.0 bios offered in three global region zip files. M7522v1.0 Euro.zip, M7522v1.0 ASIA.zip, & E7522v1.0.zip. J.T.N. is correct, the SLI board takes something else. Are both boards bios's compatable? I have no idea. Recommend step one as to confirm with MSI what board you truly have & go from there.

Just returned from Intel's WebSite www.intel.com/technology/turboboost & it stated the Turbo Boost Tech is activated when the operating system (OS) requests highest processor performance state (PO).
Your manual does show Turbo Boost feature. Just a thought. Is it possible your particular board, or it's current bios version doesn't support or offer Turbo Boost? It sounds like for sure you need to contact the MSI Tech Staff or search Google for some additional answers.

I think you must enable E.I.S.T. to have the Turbo Boost option.
