Hi
I was wondering if anyone has got the drivers to work for Realtek HD audio, codec is ALC888 the MB i have is MSI P7N Platinum. I am using the vista 64 bit drivers that MSI providers.
Here is the message i got in the device manager.
(Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
If anyone found a solution to this i would be greatful.
I think I have found a solution to this.
I recently had problems my self.
First you have to install this, from Intel:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/detail_desc.aspx?agr=N&DwnldID=7525&ProductID=1861Second, install the latest drivers from Realtek, R2.22. I uploaded the zip file to filefront, as their ftp server is running by mouse power.
http://files.filefront.com/Vista+R222zip/;13661269;/fileinfo.htmlI hope it will work. for you. I had a lot of trouble finding the solution. Everything has to do with Intel's high definition codec that for some reason Realtek choose not to include in their driver packages.

Let me know how it goes!
