Hi Svet,

after enjoying your GPU tool I decided to check out what else is on the market :)

I'm running this tool and following your color code procedures, but the LED refuses to change other than from blue to green and vice versa. I even tried Fn+F10 before clicking ok and it wouldn't budge.

Other than that, will this tool OC past the 1.6Ghz? If not, what's the difference between the tool and just turning up the max CPU usage for battery mode? I'm running Win7 with BIOS n011_10g. (Is that really the latest/best?)

A bit off topic but I'm an OC newbie and I couldn't find a valid answer in the other forums: if I want to OC through BIOS to +8-24%, do I also need to change the number of PCI bus clocks?

Thanks  :)

Install SCM as well:
http://msi.com/service/download/utility-9202.html
then retry

It will allow you to OC at battery, else OC is only available on AC mode

No, PCI bus clocks has nothing to do with the OC. you no need to change them

From official versions yes, else not.

ok..I had SCM installed but followed your link just to be sure. New SCM installed, restarted, still only getting green and blue.  :undecided:

EDIT: What does happen though is when I go eco-mode+enable my screen brightens up. (in case that might help isolate the issue)

Interesting: Carefully following the readme I tried to get the white LED. Eco-mode--Enable-OK-Quit--FnF10...and voilà it worked! I thought it maybe had to do with the fact I wasn't Quitting out befre FnF10-ing. So I happily flipped through all the colors until purple, at which point my system became unstable and dumped physical memory. After reboot I turned the BIOS OC down from 15% to 0 and reactivated the emulator. Flipped through the colors and failed again at purple.

So ok, maybe my system just doesn't like purple. I don't know why it reacted that way but ok, I can live without purple. So I tried for white again, following the exact same procedure, but got only green and blue again! It's almost as if my comp takes the emulation way too seriously and doesn't even recognise FnF10 when "plugged in." Even just trying to activate turbo mode (from normal/blue-mode--enable-OK-Quit--FnF10) while running on battery doesn't work. (and SCM is running the whole time...I checked each time)

All drivers in my system are the latest official versions, the only real mods are the GPU tool and this, and as I said, I did actually have it working at one point, but can't figure out why! Does it matter if the comp is plugged in at startup or something like that?

do ec reset: http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=112416.0
then retest and try with less 8% oc

OK...EC reset and OC off, still doesn't function.  :undecided: I'll keep trying and let you know if I get it working again.

"Fixed issue when AC Main Power is plugged, Brightness automatically goes to 100%"

Is it possible to only fix this issue without using the rest of the BIOS update? I have searched for other topics but could not find a solution. Thanks.
