MSI gave me a BIOS to fix this problem.
If your board starts at midnight, please use this BIOS to solve the matter.

You must be very lucky that MSI gave you attention and gave you support on your problem, I have same board here 2 days now and this board and all my attempts to install win xp hope was zero, so much fault errors, I sent them message at MSI Support Online but nothing happened

I've had the same problem...... keeps falling over on the xp install, whether on a SATA hdd or old ATA hdd on the IDE lead.

Actually a 've seen 2 issues Started Linux Install and it hang up on USB controller detection, so I turned USB off and got it allright idea
Yesterday I saw some kind of bug After Installing Win2kPro and a SATA 1,5 PCI controller the system just turns off whhen I stop do something. I checked this issue two times So both times my MOBO just  :shocked_anim:goes to standby after USB keyboard/mouse So it seems like an USB bug// Today will  try to flash it after some PCMArk Score Measurements  bonk
