Hi!

I had my 790FX-GD70 with 1.3 bios and tried updating to 1.6 directly from bios. After the reboot I am stuck at FF. Any ideas or is RMA the only solution?

I tried the recovery with the floppy drive but it didn't work.

Remove power cord from the PSU, then do >>Clear CMOS Guide<<
and retry.
If no change look sticky for BIOS recovery:

Clearing the CMOS didn't help.

I tried the recovery with a floppy and a CD with no luck :(

Use an USB flash drive and original BIOS file name and retry.
If no change contact to reseller for assistance

No success either.

There is no activity on the USB stick, only activity is the SATA DVD drive. I tried it also with only the usb stick connected.
