WiFi not functional after BIOS/FW Update

(1/2) > >>

schnappi:
WiFi not working after updating the BIOS and the FW to the latest versions from the website, please help?

Tried everything - OS reinstall, driver reinstall etc. Everything looks fine in the Device Manager, but the OS says that WiFi is not switched on and this tablet doesn't feature a hardware switch for WiFi, therefore the problem must be the bios/fw update. Can I roll back? Pleae help, I just got the thing and now it is screwed :-(

Svet:
have you done EC reset after the update? [by disconnecting all power sources and leave it for 5 minutes]

schnappi:
I dosconnected the cord, restarted and reset the bios settings, but didn't leave it disconnected for 5 mins. Would turning it of and leaving it like that help or need to reflash? Any other possible reasons?

Jack:
Which tablet do you have?

schnappi:
Its WindPad 110W, sorry for not mentioning, I was so worried that I forgot. I cannot remove the battery to reset the EC unless I disassemble the thing.
