The SSD in these is actually a Mini PCI-E SSD card, not a 'traditional' drive.

I know, I was checking to see what an Intel 310 80GB would cost. More than I can afford for sure. :lol_anim:

Henry, why not simply insert an SD-card to extent the storage?
Just like smartphones do.
Also, such cards are pretty cheap.

Don't need more storage just yet but was looking at the 310 mostly because I read on another forum how much faster they are than the SanDisk that's in the Windpad. I'll probably get a couple of SDHC cards sometime soon for it, the SD cards I have now are for my camera/e-book and pretty small capacity. I do have a 32MB in there now just to keep the slot clean.
Around $50 USD for 32GB SDHC card does seem like a pretty good addition now that you bring it up. Looks like something to get after selling some of my older no longer used PC parts.
