Ah ok, Android.
Android = Linux, as such you have to mount a "drive" first before you can access it.

Is your stick formatted with FAT/FAT32/EXT2/EXT3?
Android can't read NTFS formatted sticks as far as I know.

Did you look in the control-section of Android?
There should be an option to format SD-cards and such.

Sorry I do not have an Android device at the moment.
But all Android devices should work the same, so Google for Android websites, there should be plenty information.
These devices are not much different from an Android phone.

Where do you get they embrace Windows?
The Windows version isn't even sold in the Euro-zone :lol_anim:
And it's good they don't do that as Windows 7 is simply terrible on the device.

I wish I got myself an Android version instead.

MSI doesn't make Android.
Nor do they make Windows.
They make hardware and put an OS on it.

Do you see people run to MSI when Internet Explorer fails? Nope, that is a problem of Microsoft.
Same with Android, that is made by Google: http://www.android.com/

The only company that supports their own hardware is Apple, but then they made the operating system too. ;-))

And I had a Samsung Galaxy, never got any support at all.

First, I am in Saudi Arabia and the new 10 " MSI tablet is based only on windows 7
HTC and Samsong are shifting to Android
Secondly, MSI needs to consider software support , upgrades, updates etc which will definitely improve the performance of its hard wares like any respectable company
but I recon MSI is

There are 2 Windpads, the "A" with Android and the "W" with Windows.
MSI doesn't make those operating systems, they only test and validate drivers, just like all other companies do.
Do some reading on the matter, it's chip-manufacturers that write drivers and those drivers are only validated by companies like MSI, HP, IBM, Asus etc.
And operating systems are supported by the maker of the OS, for Android that's Google and for Windows that's Microsoft.

It has always been this way and MSI is no exception.

Do some digging, you will see soon enough it's the same for all of them.
Stop bitching on MSI as there is nothing they can do if the OS doesn't have stuff.
It's also against the forum rules, do some digging on how it works.

I think the point being made is that there is no 'product' page on the MSI website for the Windpad 'Enjoy' models, at least none that I can see.

But still, even if there is one, unlike Windows models, Android devices don't need a stream of updated drivers and such, they won't support any other operating system, and there is no need to do fresh reinstalls all the time, like Linux, Android 'just works'.

Any updates for the Enjoy models will be made available through the device itself, rather than downloads from a website.

If you have any questions or queries, you can always contact MSI directly: http://support.msi.com

LiveUpdate on Android, yes you are on the right track :lol_anim:

This is ANDROID man, that is NOT Windows.
Android does not run 1 piece of Windows software as it's NOT Windows ;-))

OK  :agrees:
what the alternative for live update in android platforms ?
Now android ice-cream is there and we are standstill on 2.1  and needless to mention the old bios .
i joined this forum to help solve the problems of my  MSI enjoy 7  tablet however, the benefit is trivial if any

Android updates itself when needed.
And please stop about BIOS, as there is no need to touch that.

Android = Linux = Mintained by Google => Means MSI will update is when a new version in tested and ready.

Version 2.1 doesn't mean there are problems, not that it should be behind.
As said a few times now, this IS NOT WINDOWS!

You don't have a clue at all, do research on Android.
If there is an update you could update it from Android itself, as it holds a function to do that.

Use Google and type "Android Manual", all Android devices are the same in workings.
Android is a bit like Windows on a PC, one you learned Windows you can basically go out and by any brand PC that has Windows.
It's the same with Android, once learned, you can operate any Android device.

Hello! I need support for my MSI Enjoy 7, but it is not even listed on MSI site. For example I need manual where I can check how to replace the battery - it is impossible to find any manual anythere. It is Android PC, I bought it 2 months ago. I've installed and updated many apps from APP Market. But only manufacturer is able to release firmware update with new OS version and support for built-in hardware and CPU. My device is pretty fresh, but I have dinosaurus-period firmware with buggy Android version 2.3, on official android site I see that fully functional version 4.0 is already released/ and I have very OLD version on my NEW device/ My friend has for example 7inch tablet for the same price (from another manufacturer) with up-to-date Android version/ It doesn't have buit-in 3G module too, but it is possible to connect any phone like modem via bluetooth if you are not in Wi-fi coverage area/ (Simply via Settings => Connections => Bluetooth). I don't have anything in my menu in MSI Android build - how can I do that?/ Also in description where I bought it I saw "USB-host capable". I have MiniUSB(Male)=>USB(Female) cable and have no idea how to make it work with my USB-drive. I can't even find official specifications on MSI site.

What phone? A lot of Android phones can be made Wifi-hotspot with something called tether. (don't know how to write it) but then they turn into a Wifi-hotspot.
I know my Samsung Galaxy Mini could do that without a problem and then you have normal Wifi via the phone.
As for Android Version 4, it always takes time before the latest Android is implemented on devices.
For example the Samsung still has 2.3.5, sure your friend has Android 4 already?

Latest Android version for Samsung Mini (that I know) is "CyanogenMod 7.1.0 android 2.3.7.1" But I know china umpc's with android 3.0 and 4.0, Dell Steak 7 for example has Android 3.2 preinstalled; 4.0 is also already unoficcially availble for HTC Desire HD (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1343361) and will be officialy available to many devices at 1st quater of 2012. I don't see any info on MSI official site - so I'm afraid that I won't get any update. And I can't understand how to unplag cover and can't find any information. It was easy available for my Acer Aspire One 522 netbook when I decided to upgrade 1Gb=>4Gb Ram. On many Archos tablets with android 2.х it is possible to use any phone like 3g modem via Settings => Connections => Bluetooth/ Unfortunately I can only transfer files or use Bluetooth headfones in my tablet. I have nokia C3 phone with bluetooth and wi-fi but without wi-fi hotspot support - so I just wanted to use it like modem while I'm not at home or work. Also I was wondering if it is true that Windows 7 firmware version is available.
