« on: 17-March-12, 11:55:07 »

I got a MSI P67-GD55 (B3) motherboard with an intel I7  and nVidia graphic card
and I have started to get a problem When I bought a new network card (Pci-E) as son as I plug it in my screens stops getting signals from the graffic card and no power to mt mouse /keyborad.

have tried the other ports on the moterboard even moved the graphic card to another slot.
if a move the new card to another pc there is no problem.

any ideas on how to work this out?

Try to clear CMOS and see if it helps.

znobben, MSI has just recently released an UEFI/BIOS Update for a different P67 model with the following changelog:

Quote
- Fixed using Startech PCI Adapter card will result to no POST.
- Fix plug a PCIEx1 network card to all the PCIEx1 slots on the motherboard and no video occur.

The second line really looks like a fix for your problem.

That said, I am positive the same fix will be applied in an upcoming UEFI/BIOS Release for your board model.  I don't know when, but it will probably be soon, especially if you contact MSI Technical Support and report the issue.
