Has any one experienced a sleep/hibernate issue with window 7 64 bit with the 760GM-P33 mother board before and after a bios update. This issue did not occur with win XP 32 bit. searched MS for hot fixes to no avail though. Nothing wrong with MB it worked fin before I installed win7.

What do you mean exactly?  "Bofore and after a BIOS Update"?  What has that got to do with anything?  Can you please explain that in more detail?

ALso, please provide full system specifications: >>Posting Guide<<

I mean MSI support told me to install the 1.4 bios for this mother board latest is 1.3 on the MB web site...ya wanna now details of set hmm interesting. as I said the new build ran fine under win xp 32 bit it would resume from standby no issue now with win 7 64 bit installed it give black screen after resuming from sleep/hibernate mode with LCD monitor light being blue I have both D-Sub and DVI to the video card .. Running 4gig ddr3 ram.. vid card is an Sapphire ATI Raedon HD 6570 2gig of ram.. 500 gig seagate barracuda hard drive sata 6.0.. 550watt XFX power supply and a  AMD Athlon X II Regor 250 3.0gHZ processor and a ASUS Xonar sound card and I almost forgot an intel EXPI9301 pci-e network adapter..tech support seems to think its the MB bios but bios flashed properly..I also replaced CMOS battery and reset to see if any change non...this is OEM win 7 soft ware and I really don't feel like having to RMA this board and have to spend more dollars on a microsoft key again..the system runs fine when up and running..your help would be greatly appreciated..

Can you please try the following:  Go to this section of the BIOS Setup:

Power Management Setup --> Wake up Event Setup

... and then set "Wake up Event By" to [OS] instead of [BIOS]?  Then Save & exit BIOS Setup and retest.

The same issue with windows 7 not resuming properly after sleep/hibernate persists after changed the Bios setting to OS for waking the comp back up.

Beware EUP2013 enabled turns OFF USB (probably other stuff too) in several states to save power.

Just added 8gb dual channel Gskill Rip Jaws memory to the mother board because the tech rep I called stated it could be a compatibility issue was running pny memory. Well the problem persist and I also asked the tech why they sent me the 1.46 bios for this board when its not available on the web site...so as of yet it seems I'm gonna have to RMA this MB for a different one that will work...having to keep activity going on this comp to keep it from going into suspend sleep or hibernate is ridiculous...it seems microsoft is very aware of this problem and has been for years since win 7 beta... now in 2012 there is still no fix for this problem tells me its time for a new OS producer to hit the market...
