I have recently been running since I built my PC with 3 X 4GB RAM chips (Apacer 4GB UNB PC3- 10600CL9)
I have now decided as I was finding the machine a bit slow to upgrade to 4 chips. When I insert the 4th the machine boots then hangs after getting into windows. Remove the 4th chip and all is fine. I have done a test using the new chip in the 3rd place to see if it was a chip issue but it runs fine. All chips are the same make and capacity.
Is it a setting issue? Not sure where to look next.
