BIOS update available for P67A-G43 but not P67A-G45

The latest BIOS update for my motherboard (P67A-G45) is version 1.D on MSI's website (msi.com/product/mb/P67A-G45--B3-.html#/?div=BIOS), but the latest update for the P67A-G43 is much newer (version 1.I) on MSI's website (msi.com/product/mb/P67A-G43--B3-.html#/?div=BIOS).

From downloading the P67A-G43 1.I update, it appears that the two motherboards use the same BIOS. Does this mean it is safe for me to flash the P67A-G43 BIOS to my P67A-G45 and if so, why hasn't the MSI website been updated?

Looks like the UEFI/BIOS's are not intended for both boards. Unless a new revision addresses a direct compatibility problem or feature that you have trouble with or need, a flash is not recommended at all.

RAM of choice - Corsair. PSU of choice - Corsair. HDD's of choice - WD spinners. CPU cooler of choice - Zalman CNPS9900's. Graphics of choice - nVidia. Audio of choice - Creative PCI X-Fi Elite Pro or PCI-E X-Fi Champion. Optical burners of choice - Lite-On and LG. Platform of choice - Intel chipset based. Mainboard brand of choice - do you really have to wonder?

No RAID, No SSD's, No Windows 8 = No Problems!

 If Jacks beta BIOS thread is any indication these MBs all use the same BIOS:


 P67A-C45/C43, P67S-C43, P67A-G45/G43
