MSI Mouse driver needed
« on: 23-July-12, 17:55:02 »

Hello,

The other day I needed to reinstall my drivers, so I removed them and when I went to get the CD for my mouse driver I couldnt find it.
I have searched and searched over the internet as much as possible.

So if any of you have, or know the where abouts for the driver for this mouse could you please help?

Kinest Regards

On the bottom of the mouse it has "Gaming Mouse" "P/N:S12-0400990-AA3" That's all I have :(

Many new plug and play devices do not have a specific driver offered by a manufacturer. I have noticed this since win7 came out, even my Razer gaming mouse download the all the software automatically. Really bothers me to tell you the truth.

Is the product working properly?

looking the box, appears to be a gaming mouse, which suggest that must be one of those 3:

Do you have a photo of the back of the packaging. Also where are you from or where did you buy it?

Since your mouse is no MSI branded retail mouse in MSI's mouse lineup, the mouse will most likely be a Steelseries product. Quote from Steelseries: "Hand-picked by brands such as ASUS and MSI for bundling purposes". As your Notebook is already equipped with a Steelseries keyboard, my guess is your mouse is a Steelseries mouse with just the MSi logo on it for bundeling purpose. Check their site for drivers: http://steelseries.com/products/mice/steelseries-kinzu-optical#downloads.

Maybe you should contact MSI Support, give them that part number on your mouse, and they can point you in the right direction of the correct software for it?
