Geforce 4 ti 4200 Tv-Out Problem
« on: 26-August-02, 07:13:17 »

I'm running windows Xp, when I hook up the adaptor to the card and hook up the svideo or RCA style cable to my tv. I cone the desktop in Nview. I click apply, When it goes to switch it on the tv goes white and my monitor goes off forcing me to hit the restart button.

This did the same thing to me in win98 I did what the user's guide told me and I get the same thing as in windows xp. HELP!!!

Could be your format.
pal selected when you need NTSC or vise versa.
You could also try selecting through device selection and see what happens.

I am not able to change the setting in windows because it auto selects ntsc, windows xp thing I guess. But I did select ntsc when I was running windows 98 and it still did the same thing.

I have another problem any other driver I try to use other than the one that came of the cd makes games crash. I'm running an AMD thunderbird I wonder if thats the problem. The Driver is 27.20 and the driver from MSI the 30.00 and the one from nvidia 30.82 both crash even the newer 28.90 driver wont work. I don't know whats wrong.
