DR8-A2 won't burn to DVD+R

I have bought a MSI DR8-A2 Two weeks ago and have DVD cloner 2 for burning software. I have tried with 5 Memorex Dvd+r disks and it burns and completes with no problems, but when i try to play them in my dvd player (not on computer) it gives me a no disk error. Also they don't wana play on the computer. I bought some dvd+rw and it burns and plays on both my dvd player and computer. can anyone help, this is starting to :censored: me off. also i updated the fireware to 150d.

also when i play a dvd from it the picture quality has lines through it. should I return this dvd burner and get a new one, or different brand.
