Guide how to: <a href="http://www.bay-wolf.com/usbmemstick.htm" target="_blank">http://www.bay-wolf.com/usbmemstick.htm</a><br>Once done download latest NVFlash 5.100.0.1 Utility from: <a href="http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1893/.html" target="_blank">http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1893/.html</a><br>and extract nvflash.exe and CWSDPMI.EXE to the USB key,<br>then rename the VBIOS file downloaded from MSI for your card to 1.ROM.<br>[For example rename NV255MS.204 to 1.ROM, where "NV255MS.204" will vary depend of your card used, <br>Etc: the original VBIOS file downloaded from MSI web page renamed to 1.ROM]<br>/* Or some other name[up to 8.3 chars], but extension must end to </span>.<span style="color: red;"><b>ROM</b></span><span style="color: navy;"> */<br></span><span style="color: navy;">And copy 1.ROM also to the USB key.</span><br><span style="color: navy;"><br>Then reboot the machine and boot from the USB key.<br>When you see A:\ or C:\, type:<br><span style="color: blue;">nvflash.exe -b old.rom</span> [ENTER] &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; /* This will backup/save current installed VBIOS to old.rom */<br><span style="color: navy;">Wait process to finish, then type:</span><br><span style="color: blue;">nvflash.exe -4 -5 -6 1.ROM</span> [ENTER] &nbsp; &nbsp;/* This will flash your newest VBIOS */<br><br>Wait process to finish, then reboot the machine and you're done.</span><br><br><br><span style="color: navy;">Retest and see how its goes.<br>If your Video card is still unstable, read <a href="../../../../index.php?topic=38822.0" target="_blank">&gt;&gt;<span style="color: maroon;">Posting Guide</span>&lt;&lt;</a> 1st and provide full system specifications,<br>then open a new own topic in VGA forum section for troubleshooting.</span><br><br><span style="color: navy;"><br>Best Wishes,<br>The forum team.</span></div>      ]]></description>
