B2500i Pro Getting CPU DRAM lights flashing
« on: 19-May-17, 22:21:51 »

I recently bought a B250I pro motherboard and I can not get it to post. I am running a intel i5-7500 with 8gb of kingston ram ran by a corsair cxm 550w power supply.

When I turn the power on the fans spin and the board lights up but it flashes the ez debug LED. It flashes white in between dram and the cpu lights. I have the power supply to the 24 pin plugged in and the 4 pin cpu.  I made sure that the golden triangle was correct on the cpu and the socket. Uninstalled the ram and put it back in and still gives me the same error.

Does anyone have a suggestion of what might be the problem.

Thanks.

Remove the CPU and check the CPU socket for damage. Take a picture and post it here.
