windpad w110 wireless capability turned off
« on: 13-October-12, 07:54:25 »

Hello
i have same problem with Steven but i have MSI- windpad w110

I can't enable the wireless capability on my windpad.

I did every thing that i knew about, to enable it. doesn't work. nothing happened.
checked the network adapters in device manager. I can see the wireless adapter is there without any warning (Atheros AR9002wb-1NG  Wireless network Adapter)
and in the back of my windpad there is no factory label, but in the back of windpad wrote: model number: MS-N0E1
would you help me with this?

Thanks

Majid

You need to install the O-Easy software, this will allow you to turn the wireless radio on/off.

You'll have better luck on a Ubuntu or Linux message board then.

Hi, if MSI didn't provide Linux driver support on this model page, which means they don't test Linux on it and won't provide further support.
Maybe some experts on Linux forum can help you then.

So there is no physical key for turning wifi on or off?
Like power+home key or something?

This is a Windows based system, not like Android, and if you look into the online manual, there is no such hardware function key.
