Hello Everyone I recently bought the following setup:

MSI B350 Gaming Pro Carbon
AMD Ryzen 1600X
16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 Memory (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16)

I have placed everything in my case With my OCZ-Vertex 3 SSD.

Since I don't have a windows 10 Key I thought I install Windows 8.1 and then upgrade using the media creation tool.
So the installation went great with windows 8.1 I installed it and used windows update so I can easily upgrade. Little did I know that Windows 8 doesn't like Ryzen. So when I want to update to Windows 10 my whole system freezes.

So I tried creating a windows 10 USB tool so I can install it all anew. But When I boot from USB, I only see the windows Logo and the little dots making circles.
I have tried everything to make this work. anyone some ideas how to fix this?

I used the Media Creation Tool and Rufus in all sorts of options. GPT UEFI, MBR UEFI.

Those options seem contradictory to me...

I'm not an expert, but on the assumption you don't have an installation you're trying to salvage you might try just wiping all the partitions and initializing the disk before installing Win10 using a DVD or USB drive created with Media Creation Tool all alone.  If you have another system to install the SSD on would make it easier to delete the partitions and initialize it otherwise you'll need a bootable repair flash drive with the necessary utility (diskpart.exe).

Once it's installed you can use the Win8.1 key to validate Win10.  If it fails, just use to phone validation option to talk to a tech.  They're really helpful and will get ya going...if your key is a valid retail key of course.

Enter Bios > Settings > Advanced > Windows OS Configuration
Try this:
Windows 10 WHQL Support Disabled to Enable  (if default disable)

Save and exit bios

GPU is not concerned but the mobo's bios.

Please download and create your USB from the Windows 10 USB Download Tool published in the Microsoft site (select the distribution corresponding to your Windows licence: home, professional...). Then, retry after to have inserted your USB key in one of the USB 2.0 ports on the back panel.
:hat tip:
