WT72 6QN 6th disk
« on: 20-December-17, 10:42:58 »

Hi there,
I decided to improve my WT72 by adding two M.2 disks and to replace mechanic disk with SSD one; all three in RAID 0 configuration.
As result, benchmark is giving 1595MB/s sequential read speed (3*540 theoretical). Just perfect! Original Hitachi disk had 140MB/s
But, during bios setting I found that there is possibility to add one more disk!
There is also empty space for the disk but not sure for connector; so questions:

1. Why MSI hide information of TWO RAID Controllers ? should be proud of it
2. I started to use computers as young civil engineer student on 1979 and manuals for IBM360 computer were stocked in dedicated room; is it difficult to have some more detailed documentation for the product of 6000EUR?
3. How to install 6th disk in my WT72?

Keep well

P.S. sorry for Intel Rapid print screen in French :)

Hi there,
Shame on MSI gurus; this is forum covered by MSI.
I asked the question out of competences of anybody except MSI and they are silent.
OK, nice to know that you dont care about your clients.
My next workstation will be LENOVO because my opinion is that MSI will pay on the end his bad support of good product

Keep well, Merry Christmas and happy New Year !
