MSI Gaming App
« on: 20-March-17, 10:56:34 »

Hi, do you know where we can download the previous version of MSI gaming app?
The new version seems does not work for me.
It was installed but when I open it, it only appear at tray icon.
The software doesn't appear.

My motherboard is z270 gaming pro carbon.
Win 10.

Hmm. I can't exactly remember. I guess it will be 6.2.0.02.
Version 6.1.0.18 also didn't work. It stays at the tray icon only.
When I clicked on it, nothing happen.
I have attached the image.

I use gtx 1070 too but only single card.
No matter what I click, the program never come out.
It's interesting that your gaming app still work with single card.

Since this is re-opened... Does anyone know if the MSI Tomahawk just has issues with allowing the AMD Wraith Spire cooler to display colors other than Red, Yellow and Green?  Those are the only 3 colors displaying no matter if I have purple, blue, white or yellow selected in the gaming app.  Or is it software related?

@a123_wd
Did you clean install OS before?
@jeffzec92
Did you connect LED connector from CPU fan to JLED1? the arrow on LED connector should align with 12V on the JLED pin header.

Yep it's connected.  When I change colors in the MSI gaming app, I only get Red, Green, Yellow or Orange, regardless if in the APP there is Purple, blue, cyan, yellow, and white present.

This is the same issue that I am having. I am running 2 MSI GTX 1080's SLI and now I can not run the Gaming APP ver .08. I had to go back to an older ver in-order to run the APP.

I have a ticket open with MSI support concerning this issue.  Every time I try to install ver 6.2.0.08 nothing happens. I have to go back to ver 6.1.0.20 inorder to get the MSI Gaming APP to work.

MSI is aware of the issue. Give them time. Programming is very complicated stuff, even for professional companies.
