MSI Cubi - AMI BIOS 860 or BIOS 140?
« on: 10-August-17, 18:12:18 »

Dear Friends

I own MSI Cubi and I would like to ask, which BIOS should I flash, because on the support page for MSI Cubi there are two options: AMI BIOS with the latest version 860 and BIOS with the latest version 140?

My MSI Cubi after entering BIOS has got such informations in Main tab:

BIOS Version: EBO96IMS V1.4
Product Name: MS-B096
ME Version: 10.0.30.1072

May I flash AMI BIOS version 860?

I would be glad for any help and support.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely

BIOSv1xx is legacy mode and for Win7 OS.
BIOSv8xx is UEFI mode and for Win10 OS.

Dear Yang

Thank you very much. What about CentOS 7.3, which BIOS is more suitable?

For me, CentOS 7.x works perfectly fine with UEFI on other machines.  I haven't tried it with my Cubi.

Cubi is just official support Windows OS.
For linux OS, MSI has no any driver and not tested with it.

CentOS7.3 has support UEFI so we are suggest using BIOSv8xx. (JUEST SUGGESTION)
