Title: MSI R9 270X Hawk vs Gaming Edition IDLE FAN SPEED
Post by: guerreiro2 on 16-December-13, 18:31:09
Hello,

Just wondering, I've seen in a review that the Hawk can achieve in idle a 700 rpm.

I'd like to ask if this 700 rpm in idle is true and what percentage? (18% maybe?)

And what about the Gaming Edition, what percentage can achieve in idle and what rpm?

Thanks in advance

HAWK and Gaming shares exactly the same FAN map.
Gaming at idle is 18% and around 1k RPM.

Sorry for bumping old thread.

I just want to know, is it possible to edit and flash BIOS by myself, only with new fan profile?
Can I do that vith VBE7?

I don't want to use Afterburner, or other programs for custom fan profiles, because it crash my online games.
Mostly play BF2 BC Vietnam and FarCry 3.

Thanks
