Title: GS73VR 7RG Upgrading my SSD
Post by: jt.tarigan on 08-July-19, 08:46:54

I am currently using GS73VR 7RG. I mostly use it for games but really got tired with long loading times. I have even moved the game to my main SSD (yes I know it's not good for my SSD) but it still requires a long loading time (Anthem has avg 25-30 seconds).

Currently, my SSD uses Toshiba HG6 M.2 (2280) 256 GB SSD Drive THNSNJ256G8NY and considering to upgrade it to Samsung 970 pro 1tb (NVME). Is it possible to use the Samsung NVME SSD in my Laptop? Will I gain a significant performance boost in loading time?

Thank you

I would think that yes upgrading from an oem ssd to a top off the line from (samsung crucial kingston) might give your laptop a performance for loading stuff like window but I dont think that it would be that much help for loading game such as anthem as most off the time , game loading time rely more on the game optimisation than on the ssd performance
