Hello, running an ipisb-ch mother boardwith legacy bios. I may have not did enough research before buying a new MSI card because the 1050ti LP I bought will not turn on. I get 1 long and 3 short beeps. I am guessing this GPU card only runs on UEFI boards and I am operating legacy BIOS that must not be supported. Tried many things with no luck. The GPU does not have additional pins for power and runs exclusively off the pcie x 16 power. I have a 600W psu, but I am assuming the pcie x 16 slot is capped. So either I have a power supply issue or the card does not work with legacy BIOS. I wonder if I can update the vbios on the GPU to run with my old mobo.

Windows 10, 2.8 i5 quad, 600w psu, ipisb-ch mobo, 10gig ram

Any suggestions?

I don't think this has to do with legacy vbios.
Looks like your board do not support such class GPU,
check for BIOS update for your computer then try again.

Thanks. Having difficulty getting the BIOS update. Seems like HP does not want to support a 10 year old mobo. I wanted to update gpu, ram, etc... without going into a full system rebuild. A bandaid until I go into a full rebuild.
