Greetings!
I got an gaming x 1060 6gb trying to lower the power consumption using afterburner and monitoring with gpuz sensor's tab. Whatever I do with the power limit slider in msi afterburner the power consumption remains the same when on load around 100w . Even lowering power limit to 50% it's the same 100w results , What am I doing wrong?!

With the same clockrate settings reducing the alreday above nvidia stock powerlimit won't help. To undervolt lower clockrates and reduce gpu voltage.

thanks for the response , lowering core clock mh doesnt help either i tried that too in conjunction with power limit , reduce gpu voltage how?
i also have a suprim 3070 and simply lowering power limir reduces power consumption so i guessed should work the same way.

No it doesn't when only a low power limit is needed like for a Gtx 1060. Trying to reduce power with +600 on memory like shown in your screenshots doesn't make sense.

You can use voltage curve editor from afterburner [Ctrl+F] to undervolt it with custom curve,
or to lock the voltage with "L" at specified curve point from there.
