So, I just got a New PSU the MSI MPG A850G. And I noticed that there was a 12VHPWR to the "normal" 6+2 connectors.
Now this will look a lot "cleaner" so use over the standard cables, and I was wondering if this would blow my GPU or if it would be fine? What I've seen via google, are some people saying it will be fine, others saying no it will kill my GPU.

the 12VHPWR to 2 8 Pin Power Connectors on the PSU Side are Pinned for 300W on the Side Band Connector so each 8 Pin pull 150W max each for 300W Total.

its Exactly the Same as 2 Individual 8 pin Strait Cables and you will have no issue with it

the Way the Cables Know how much Power to send are the Side Ban Connector on 12VHPWR and can be one of 4 things Pinned. 150W total, 300W Total, 450W Total or 600W total.

Cool, thanks all changed over now, build looks a lot better.

Wait, so if I plug the 12VHPWR connector into the PSU then connect the 2 6+2 connectors to my GPUeverything will be fine?
