I'm having to send my graphics card (5090) back to the supplier due to a fan issue. Due to this I'm going to have to unplug the card and then plug it back in after the supplier is done with it. I have had no issues with overheating but me having to unplug and plug the card back in has me worried. I paid a lot for the card so I don't want to risk any potentual overheating issues. I have a MSI MAG PSU and it has a dedicated 16 pin cable for the graphics card. I'd like to be safe and replace this cable so the connection is fresh. I don't want to mix and match cables from different manufactures so is this something that could be done?
