hello

i have installed Bitspower waterblock on 2080 ti Lightning Z and i noticed MSI AB wouldn't allow power target control and pretty any control over the card then i noticed the clocks were locked to 1350mhz , when i try to apply an OC values the screen goes black for 10 seconds and comes back on without any changes !!!!

i was told to plug the original fans to the fan headers which is almost impossible since i have a hard line tubes setup

i tried to register my card but i get the " strange "  product not recognized error in the website and the android app !!!

someone help please

Dear Flobelix,

is the custom bios confirmed tob e working with watercooled 2080ti lighting Z cards?

May I please ask for the modded bios as well? I am also stuck at 1350 mhz with waterblock.

Please pm me.

Thank you.

Hi, i bought some used 2080ti lightning with bitspower block. And i have same problem it stuck 1350mhz, can anyone send me bios to fix it? or is should just flash Galax bios?

Already found bios on overclock.net, connected fan, flashed card and it works :) but damn that lightning card is bad as hell, do they bin them? :D
one year i used reference 2080ti with EK waterblock, was rock solid gaming card 2130mhz, after i got Titan RTX, that could do same 2130mhz for gaming. And this one with bitspower  waterblock  max out at ~2050-2070mhz stable gaming :) card never goes over 38C :) 3x360 60mm rads outside rig :) i don't understand HOF/ Kingpin card are cherry picked and asking more money because of that, but why lightning?

That is interesting but the oc results are unfortunately not the point of this thread so it can't be discussed here.

ok, so my bios now is 90.02.17.40.9D , do you think after next drivers update i will get stuck again? do you have better bios? newer?

It does not depend on driver. These numbers are also no real manufacturer vbios version.

I don't know what vbios you have but you said that you have the beta already.
