2x4 pin CPU won't fit

I bought MSI A750GL CPU PSU.
I have B550M MORTAR MSI mobo.
But the CPU connector won't fit.
Cut the plastic that gets in a way? Buy another connector? Or just return the PSU and buy with matching connector for safety?
How to differentiate which 2x4 pins are which besides looking on a picture, it has a specific name?
Inside the box wasn't even an instruction, so I'm not sure how to even name this connector.

The connector should label as CPU on the side, and look like the right one will fit it well.
