you could use the graphics fan tool to improve the fan noise
https://www.msi.com/Landing/MSI-Center
MSI Center Feature - Graphics Fan Tool
Zero Frozr
Enable (Default): Recommend for average users

When system is at idle, fan duty will remain at 0% to minimize the noise from graphics card. Fans start to cool GPU down when GPU temperature passes zero frozr temperature threshold (45 to 60 degree C based on different models).
also are you on the latest graphics driver? https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/181095/en-us

The best way is to stick to the auto settings. If trying to control the fans manually you will be limited to the speed range you see now. Zero Frozr feature (stopping fans below 65°C) like listed by teletubby will depend on an auto setting as well. It does not work with manual settings.

Id love to set the coolers below 30% too. Hardware settings are producing a lot of sudden noise making it impossible to sleep while watching a movie at night. Any help here please.
PS: MSI Center is useless.

Better case airflow as you GPU should not even need to use the fans for watching a movie GPU usages should be next to nothing for that

Movie Streaming via Netflix Spiderman@4k GPU load is only 2%

if you're using afterburner, you could check the setting under the Fan tab, and enable "Override zero fan speed with hardware curve"
since you mentioned msi center, did you enable Game mode?

And the easiest, quality Case fans make almost no noise mine make less than 15dB at max speed and each fan can move up to 50 CFM I have 2 inlet and 3 outlet 140mm Case fans
So that is up to 100CFM of hot air purged from the case.

Only if you happen to contact them directly as this is only a community run forum>>How to contact MSI.<<
shame, I have contacted them and they didnt say anything meaningful, the standard stuff, like "go visit repair service" or "reinstall windows". Which I did already and I bought the card a week ago. I they are not familiar with the word "customer" or "support". Same old [***CENSORED***] everywhere.

I don't think the fans for Ventus can run with such low fan %, [hardware limitation etc]
they are not that sensitive like for Gaming Series FANs .

What in the world are you talking about? even the cheapest coolers can be controlled via speed fan. And here I have a 400$ video card that cant even be setup as I like.

Actually I'm comparing the Armor Series vs Gaming on older GPU 1xxx generations.
Disregard my reply.
For newest gen. like 3xxx I'm not sure.

What in the world are you talking about?
I'm talking for min.voltage required for the FAN to turn on.
However ignore my prevision reply as the compare was meant for older GPU FAN generations.

even the cheapest coolers can be controlled via speed fan.
If the FAN can't operate with such low voltage, it will make no difference if you set it to low fan %,
it will stop instead to run with lowest speed or will keep running with the same RPM, even if it shows lower % in software.

Im surprised no one is talking about it. Yes its suppose to be a "gaming" build, but should it make too much noise in standby mode? hell no. I dont understand why is it making so much noise at its lowest 30% speed. I mean, my AC is quieter that this piece of junk. I have couple more AMD cards and they are barely heard at 30%. this is beyond stupid.

Can you check at what RPM is running when you got the 30%?
It should not be loud with the min. speed.

I'm suspecting either it's running with highest RPM than expected (due some reason)
or something to be wrong with the FANs of your particular GPU.

At 30% you should not hear it unless it is faulty My AMD has to get to 50% before it makes any noise I can hear and I have it set for 55% max speed as that is when the noiles starts to appear.
And if no one is complaining about noise it it is like to be isolated to your GPU only.
