3080 ti Gaming Trio Hotspot

Hello.
I just got a used MSI 3080 ti Gaming Trio.
It’s having an issue with the GPU hotspot reaching around 102c under load. I have repasted twice ( XTM70 and MX-6) and the temps are not getting under control.
I was just seeing if anyone else has ran into this issue?
I plan on buying another cooler to see if maybe it’s a faulty heat pipe but my core package temps are fine so any input would be nice.

Did you only replace the GPU core paste?
Are the GPU is using stock thermal pads?
Do you replace paste under metal plate bracket too?

I did only replace the thermal paste on the GPU die.
The thermal pads looked good so I didn’t replace them.
I did ordered a new MSI cooler from AliExpress and will be using that to fix it as it has the stock thermal pads already applied.

I also scored another 3080 ti FE on FB marketplace for $270 that was overheating and I’ll be replacing thermal pads on that to get it back to working order and sell one back out for about $500 to recoup some cost.
