3d Adaptive errors 2080ti gaming X trio 11gb

After having the card for a couple of years and taking care of my PC religiously by cleaning it once per week, recently I've been having issues with the card.

If im playing older games on lower settings it works fine, however even older games or new ones, basically any game that loads it up to the point that the fans start spinning to cool it off the games crash, in OCCT i'm having 3D adaptive errors and there is hardly any info online what could that be.

Took it to a shop nearby to get my PC diagnosed they told me it's the GPU, however they don't know exactly whats wrong with it , that it's the first time they see this happening - in their stress tests it fails 2 times out of 10.

Attaching OCCT screenshots and some of the errors when the games crash , hopefully someone has an idea how to get this sorted

This is way too often and may lead to early system failure.


As it is failing, make a Warranty Claim or RMA

That's old GPU model, doubt it would have a warrantee.

run GPU-Z, then at "Sensor" Tab, and "Enable log to file", then go play that game until it crashes,
and provide the log file.

Checked the logs, thermally doesn't looks good.
Probably thermal paste need to be reapplied and probably thermal pads also need replacement too. (wear out)
At least this is what can be tested and tried.

It shows delta ~33C, with HotSpot temp reached 105C just before the crash.
