Hello. I have an MSI 4090 Liquid X graphics card. MSI X570s Tomahawk Max WiFi motherboard. CPU liquid cooling Thermaltake TH420 ARGB Sync.
The backlight is only synchronized between the motherboard and the Thermaltake.
In rainbow mode, everything is beautiful. But the video card does not sync!
Why doesn't the video card have a rainbow backlight mode?
The only time when colors can be made the same is to set a constant glow of a certain color.
The most expensive graphics card can't sync the backlight to your motherboard.
Why did you let this happen and how will you fix it?

I want to have a rainbow backlight mode on my video card! So that the colors change smoothly and beautifully in sync with the motherboard and other elements.

Umm make sure you select the Link mode and all are showing linked
If that not work not sure how you can get it working

In the profile of the video card itself, there is no rainbow mode
since the video card does not have a rainbow mode, it starts flashing, Video Link

In the mean time can you Check for Firmware updates for GPU and For the Motherboard?

Just Run MSI Center Live update and select Advanced to see if their are any updates

Seem it is a limitation of the software, for now, will be fixed in Mystic Light 3.0.0.55. Possibly with MSI Center 2.0.19.0

As a workaround for Rainbow please use the Wave option for GPU
as 40 series GPU does not Support Rainbow mode but has to use Wave mode instead.

So it seems that wave when it works will be used for the GPU in Rainbow mode
The graphics card uses waves to represent the rainbow effect

You can also just set the system to wave mode with three different colours.

I dont use RGB except as a single colour so not know what it can do
But apparently in area marked you can set Wave to Rainbow colour

if you set the motherboard in rainbow mode, and the video card in wave mode, they are approximately the same, but the colors are slightly different. I hope after the update the problem will be solved.
