4090 Suprim X not listed on major US retailers?

I'm confused why both Newegg and BestBuy US do not have the 4090 Suprim X even listed? (not even talking about being sold out).

A couple notes here:
-If you pull up Newegg, they only have options for buying it through 3rd party scalpers.
-Best Buy Canada has these listed and ready to back order. Nothing even listed here in the US BestBuy.

Microcenter, B&H Photo both have them "listed", but obviously nothing ever comes in stock.

Really struggling to find this card :(

I know on the surface it might seem like it is the retailer choice to sell what they want and at the end of the day it is, but this seems more like an oversight or mistake that the card wouldn't even be listed on those major retailer. They both have the 4090 Suprim X Liquid listed and many other MSI cards.

Understood that the supply is beyond MSI control, but the first step before that is to get them properly listed with your retail partners.

MSI had the Suprim X 4090's, they just wouldn't allow them to be sold unless it was part of their "Bundle/Combo" deal. Seemed really unfair.

Understood, I didn't realize https://us-store.msi.com was a separate retailer from MSI.

Are the Suprim X 4090's still in production? I have not seen any show up since launch.
That is MSU USA, not MSI Global they have their own Policies I guess but ya it is strange, as I can get in Australia without too many problems but ya Stock is very low on 4090 series for some reason

I would not be surprised if you could order a Prebuilt with a MSI 4090 in it with out to much problem

I bought an MSI 4090 Suprim (non-X) on the MSI USA Store yesterday. Only difference between the two is the non-X is 30 MHz less on GPU clockings & $10 less.
Yeah really want the X if I'm spending that much. I see the Liquids but still haven't seen the X.

Yeah I agree but already built mine minus the gpu. I just ordered off shopblt.com but who knows how long before they get in. I'll check out MSI Global too see if they have. Thanks for advice everyone!

I think the Suprim X models are only built with the virtually flawless components and that is why it is rarely available compared to the Suprim which is almost 99% the same performance as the Suprim X. With Afterburner OC Scanner overclocking I am hitting almost 3000 MHz GPU clockings in game with +200 MHz memory bandwidth increase as well. This is with no voltage or power limit increase. This card is amazing and I am coming from an MSI 3090 Ti Suprim X GPU. I easily get 144 fps or more on my ASUS 32" 4K gaming monitor on 4K Ultra settings in pretty much every game I play with the exception of games that fully utilize RTX features like Cyberpunk 2077 does. I have experienced no loading or in game crashes even in Call of Duty: MW2 which supposedly many still have issues with. Having this card now, which MSI had delivered in 3 days to me, is well worth the 1% decrease in performance to me.
