- Problem: The Lightning Z screen is detected in Windows but cannot be used.

This problem does not occur with the previous driver 610.88.

new driver hotfix

GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 616.86 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 616.64.

This hotfix addresses the following:
  • Intermittent flicker may be observed in browsers when navigating to certain websites [6673430]
  • Fixed an issue where virtual displays could not be created after updating to driver 616.56 [6674464]
  • Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions may display a black screen after updating to driver 616.56 [668732
When you write its killing off all virtual screens, the lightning is a physical screen recognized by windows as a second display. I am certain that this driver update by Nvidia is not killing of second/third screens in windows?
Expect more pain thanks to Microsoft
Microsoft will release updates that will nerf RGB software for security reasons. It is expected that this will also affect Virtual Screens that rely on Software supplied by the manufacturer.

It is likely this will affect your RGB settings; RGB may no longer work, or the ability to control RGB may be reduced or blocked by Windows.

Thanks for the 411 Alan--so if you are relying on windows to control your RGB you could have issues but if your are using mystic light I trust this will be unaffected?

The other way around, Mystic light may well get blocked by Windows
