Had this board for about one year, never over-clocked. Recently it started acting up (mouse/keyboard quit working etc) and has
now gotten to where the system just shuts down...usually while gaming for about 45 minutes (BF4MP). I used speccy while running P95 and noted the system shuts down when the mother board temp hits 90c, also noted the mobo runs at over 80c while gaming.

Is there any known issues with this board?  Appreciate any help.

First issue noted was the mouse cursor began to "skip" across the screen and cursor graphics (icon) began to deteriorate (fuzzy). About the same time, the keyboard stopped working intermittently, I changed usb ports for both the kb/mouse and it cleared up the issue for a short time. The system began to "hang" if the mouse was moved quickly (screen freeze), sometimes it recovers other times a full restart is needed. Of late (3 days), the system just shuts down...usually after 45 minutes of BF4 multi-player. I set vcore voltage to 1.4 but other than that, have not done anything.

Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
AMD FX-8320 Vishera 32nm (STOCK HEAT SINK/FAN)
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (9-9-9-28) GeIL EVO Veloce
MSI 990FXA-GD80 (MS-7640) (bios v13.5)
1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (EVGA)
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-00KUWA0 ATA Device (SATA)
PSU Thermaltake TR2 600W

1) You're running stock heatsink on very power hungry and hot CPU. My first suggestion is that you buy some aftermarket cooler

2) What is your case and how many fans does your case currently holds?

3) Does it overheat when you have side panel case open?

I built this system in March of this year and it performed flawlessly until very recently with the stock cooler, the case is a
standard mid-tower case with the side panel off, 2 120mm fans (front/back). This is used in a basement setting where
temps stay around 60f consistently. Case is on an elevated (15 inch) stand with no obstructions, components are cleaned
every three months as needed.

EDIT: Idle temps cpu 16c, mobo 38c, graphics 39c.

Try different power supply, and also try without graphics card installed (I guess this CPU has some built in iGPU?)

Took a closer look at the stock cpu cooler, found a spider/insect nest buried deep between cooling fins (note: the rest of
the heat sink fins were clear). Removed the assembly and used a thin stick to remove that obstruction. Reapplied paste etc.

Once back together I ran p95, all tests passed/system did not tank/cpu temp never climbed above 49c/mobo temps never climbed
above 59c. One small obstruction.... Looking into a better heat sink/fan assembly. I do appreciate your time and patience.

EDIT: Idle temp, cpu 8c, mobo 29c, graphics 34c
