ENABLED, this is imperative to have this enabled, since your laptop might then go to CRITICAL and no one wants that, so this is why we lower the voltage to the CPU,
reduce power inputs on PL1/PL2, to postpone or avoid Passive trip point from throttling the CPU, but must remain as a safeguard, just in case.
 
Keep in mind this is a GUIDE not a written in stone MANUAL feel free to modify this if your laptop performs better with slight changes to these values.

So as you can see the 1st picture is the monitor for MULTI PLAYER FPS & TPS Shooters and CPU intensive games.
GAMES: CSGO, MS Flight Simulator, Far Cry 5, ARMA 3, Warhammer, Watch Dog Legion, Multi Player games.
Keep in mind you only want to use these settings to be performing the best frame rates possible for your games and still be able to game without worries.
So for your i9 go for High Performance : CORE 0,1 49/49, CORE 2/3 46/46, CORE 4/5 45/45, CORE 6/7 44/44, the first 2 cores are the most important.
You want to set PL1/PL2 to 65/75 same as in the BIOS I send to you previously as maximum possible, since you have an i9.
Of course you only want to set this for multi player online games, nothing other than this, if you want that edge performance.,
You want to make sure High Performance is checked, so that W11 and TS will make sure CPU is a priority.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, your AC Loadline should be 140 for an i9 (i7 130)

So for i7 13620H go for High Performance : CORE 0,1 49/49, CORE 2/3 46/46, CORE 4/5 45/45, CORE 6/7 44/44.
You want to set PL1/PL2 to 65/72 same as in the BIOS.

So for i7 12700H go for High Performance : CORE 0,1 47/47, CORE 2/3 45/45, CORE 4/5 44/44, CORE 6/7 43/43.
You want to set PL1/PL2 to 58/68 same as in the BIOS.

So for i7 10750H go for High Performance : CORE 0,1 49/49, CORE 2/3 46/46, CORE 4/5 45/45, CORE 6/7 44/44.
You want to set PL1/PL2 to 50/60 same as in the BIOS.

So for i7 9750H go for High Performance : CORE 0,1 45/45, CORE 2/3 43/43, CORE 4/5 42/42, CORE 6/7 41/41.
You want to set PL1/PL2 to 45/55 same as in the BIOS.

@drek4 How many years you've sent PM to this community forum, I wonder what is this PM you've got? I appreciate if u send it and check if undervolt is real or not for 12th gen mobile.​

The only way I figure out is I tried to reduce this i7-12700h on bios by "VR current limit" from 0 (default 1.6v) to 1050 (1.05v) that reduce a lot of temperature like 40°C instead ~70°C idle as well as PL1/PL2 (default 200w) turns to be limited by itself around ~35w without tuning it. In exchange for that efficency, the performance goes from 4.6 Ghz P core to 3.5-3.7 Ghz as well as E cores too.​

Interesting enough I found another way to gain slightly performance by tweaking AC/DC loadline from default 230 to 140 on both sides AC & DC ( ) for more details.​

Remember to only use one option, either Undervolt, Voltage restricion or AC Loadline, if not your system will not be stable,
thus chances of crashes, freezes or blue screens, will increase dramatically.

I did everything according to your instructions. Thank you. BIOS is the latest installed. Version E17T2IMS.110

@drek4 thx, so basically it a same thing I suggested, except u didn't suggest me "VR current limit" like this guy "narva.196153c02d7" did tweaking on 1120 (probably that goes around ~4.3Ghz P core). in fact it's crazy by default reach around 1.4v or even more for 4.6ghz peak instead of limited 1.12v to reach ~4.3ghz which why CPU throttling occurs...​

However "VR current limit" with AC/DC loadline both doesn't crash out or bluescreen or anything, since I change it to lowest temperature peak 1.05v per core with good stability for 2 years without issue.​

If that works for you great, but you said you had AC Loadline @ 140, but I see you have it @ 110, so enjoy your laptop!
I didn't even need to change the VR current limit for satisfactory results, as they say, KISS, Keep It Stupid Simple!

EDIT: But it's good that you mentioned it, maybe someone with a more recent CPU, could use this information.

"VR current limit" 1120 . This is my default value. I haven't changed anything. What value do you suggest I set?​

 
Hey all!
Have a little question well, maybe two, which has been bothering me for sometime.
I have a Raider GE76 Core i9 @2.9MHz.
I also know that it has thermal metal pad.
My first question is:
IF my notebook is on a 20 degree inclination from the back, can this affect the efficacy of the metal paste once it has tuned to liquid metal.
In other words, will the inclination of the notebook harm the metal liquid's ability to transfer heat and/or, make it slid to one side?

My second question is:
This Raider (full name) MSI Raider GE76 033CA, has a 2.9Mhz CPU and a 3070Ti GPU.
I can't find it or reviews for it anywhere.
Has anyone seen this on reviews anywhere and could you please let me know where.

A 20-degree tilt toward the rear shouldn’t have any noticeable impact on the effectiveness of the liquid metal. As long as it was applied properly and has had time to settle, it's not going to just run off or pool in one direction. Liquid metal does have low viscosity, but it's not that fluid once it's in place and under pressure between the heatsink and the die.
That said, I wouldn't recommend operating the laptop upside-down or in extreme orientations for extended periods — just to be on the safe side. But a moderate tilt like what you're describing is totally fine. Most high-end laptops with factory-applied liquid metal are designed to handle typical usage scenarios like this without issue.
 
Anyone with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX who can guide me on the settings to change? I received some guidance on priv, but in my Vector A2XWJG - the sections are a bit differently "named", so I don't want to mess it up..

Hi, @drek4 I just found out this tread while searching info about throttlestop for a 6700hq (GT72VR 6RE) as well as BIOS (CPU C States, Intel SpeedStep etc). I just read you were ready to share some config for such processor. Is still possible to get it?
