A1M stick range issue

I have this odd issue where I've calibrated the sticks, but when playing yakuza 0 directors cut, my character move slowly like the stick isn't fully being pressed down when it is.
Other games don't seem to be affected by this, but when i plug in another controller to the claw, the game plays fine so this is an issue with the claw and not the game.

range threshold is set to 100%

What is the solution to my issue?

Is there any dead zone setting in the game?

Not for the outer edge at least, i double checked and most of the outer edge is only registering 99% despite the outer threshold behind 100% and calibrating hasn't fixed it, this is causing issues in games where the game expects a 100% stick range
