About driver chipset

Since ive installed my driver chipset on my 64 bit windows Vista Ultimate the computer doesnt boot up or shut down properly, but when i used Windows vista it didnt have this problem, but i dont want to change again would it cause any peformance issues if i was to just uninstall the chipset drivers? or is there a program out there which can help me, i dont want to loose any power to my machine if possible.

May I know what is your computer module?
What do you mean the computer doesnt boot up or shut down properly ? Could you describe it more?
