About MSI - TV Anywhere Plus - Windows 7

About 3 or 4 years ago I purchased this item. (I believe it came with my graphics card.)

It worked quite well with my initial installation and Windows 7.

However; recently I completed a completely new install of Windows 7 and TV Anywhere does not function.

I first installed the drivers off the original CD and then installed PVR Plus, and then rebooted.

Error Message : MSI TVR - "Invalid Class String"

I did not install any other options available on the CD.

If you installed only the drivers you will have problem. You should also install the PVR application. Here is link to the latest to download from MSI if you need to.

Well, I downloaded the PVR stuff which was recommended and then clicked the .exe.

It uninstalled my earlier installation and then I installed the new .exe download.

Nothing changed .... Same "Invalid Class String" error message is showing.

It is really too bad because I rather liked the ease of operation with TVAnywhere.

I guess I will move on and just purchase another TV card in the marketplace. There are several choices to choose from.

Sorry I couldn't help more but there's no way I can test on my current system as this MB does not have any PCI slot to use that TV@+ card. I personally never had that problem you describe.
