Access violation error message and program hangs

The card was working and then started giving an error message and not starting.
The message is

access violation at address 0049A9F4 in module in msitvr.exe read of address 00000000



I can listen to FM and it does a channel scan at the time I use FM. This of course was after a new install. I've tried both the original disk and the updated drivers on the web. Any help would be nice. Nothing else is acting up on the PC and it's a new OS install. XP Pro SP3.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm going to pull the card and try it in another PC to see if it's the card or my machine. The machine is also new. AMD AM2+, ASUS MB, Nvidia 8400 GS video card. Nvidia drivers are latest out too.

The card worked in another PC. I formatted the drive and installed Windoze again and so far so good. I have a lot of other cards and software and all other apps and hardware worked fine. I could not find the cause and I looked hard for it. I even system restore back in time a month and it still crashed. It's now in a new and different MB and new OS install so we'll see if it happens again as I load up apps.
