Motherboard: X570 Unify
Successfully updated MSI BIOS & drivers & converted MBR to GPT & switched from CSM to UEFI in preparation of 580X3D install next week & then Windows 11 shortly thereafter. No issues about any of that at all.
My questions concern the two extra Disks created from the conversion, 1 & 2 in the attached image. Both are tagged "Removable" & both are the exact same size. Both are MBRs.
Were they created to facilitate /allowFullOS?
Do I still need either/both of them?
Can I delete either/both of them?
I also now have a "System Reserved" & Disk icon under Local Disk (C) & icon in File Folder.
I believe I read something about that being created for the conversion process...
Do I need to just let that be, or can I trash that, too.
Tia for any/all input. 👍

Leave the disk 0 alone, Windows needs those partitions. Not sure about those other disks.

Thank's for the unsolicited instruction: my inquiry has nothing to do with Disk 0; it totally concerns - as plainly posted - Disk 1 & 2, which you state you're "Not sure about".
So, I'm not sure why you choose to reply? :confused2: Thanks, anyway.

They look like USB drives
Yes, they do, don't they?
I suspect the convert process made them while it was converting the SSD from MBR to GPT, since the process was conducted while Windows was running (the "/allowFullOS" command.) As I mentioned, they're both MBR volumes & they seem to be identical to each other.
I'm just wondering if Disk 0, which is now GPT - or my system in general - still relies on those two USB drive-looking Disks for any useful purpose at all.
Thanks for your reply.(y)

You asked about the System Reserved partition, that's why I said what I did about Disk 0.
