Afterburner glitching

I have an odd issue. I am having issues when I run MSI Afterburner. It will start fine. But in the middle of a game or just basic use it starts acting up. Afterburner comes in and out. Increasing the CPU load and not properly controlling the GPU fans. I can usually catch the app in Task Manager and END TASK. It usually requires a complete reset of the computer to re-enable and use Afterburner.

MSI 3070 Ventus x3 (no overclocking)

Do you have the latest version I have no problems with it not that I use it a lot.
And what GPU Drivers are you on

Nvidia Driver 546.33 from 12.12.23
Afterburner is 4.65.5 that I redownloaded and installed.
I made sure to have the latest Bios and AMD drivers as well.
