Afterburner overlay shows up way too much

I've already set the Application detection level to low in RTSS, but still, the overlay pops up on way too many applications. For instance, the integrated Microsoft Photos displays the overlay on the selected photo as well as on the small previews. How can I fix this?

Im using Afterburner along with RivaTuner and setting hotkey to turn OSD on\off manually, maybe this will help a bit

Thanks, sorry for the late response. I know this, I already have set a shortcut to show/hide it, but on most apps where it's not supposed to be there, it doesn't work
I keep it turned off till I need it as have not found a way around it just popping up on some applications

1. Run the app you want to exclude.

2. Open RTSS and at the bottom left, click the big green "ADD" button while HOLDING SHIFT.
-A box will pop up titled "Add exclusion".

3. Enable the checkmark next to the "Active 3D application" you wish to exclude.
-This will add a new application profile under the "Global" profile.

4. Make sure to select "None" in the "Application detection level" settings in the options to the right.

Thanks to SumGuy's reply I came up with a different workaround to this problem.
I changed the Global Profile settings to "Application detection level = None", this way, the OSD will never appear unless I create a specific profile for the application I need.
Now the OSD only appears in the games I want it to appear and I can tune the OSD settings per game.

I hope this helps. ;)
