X370 is dead. Long dead. I wouldn't even bother using it for anything newer than 2xxx chip.

It could be dead for you. I'm more than happy of my 5600X on my X370 motherboard: it works great! And AMD is fully committed to support it as they repeated several times....so I expect new AGESA 1.2.0.8 sooner or later. Other vendors like Asus released 1.2.0.8 for their top X370 (like the Asus PRIME PRO) motherboards line-up; I bet that MSI will do the same soon
