After ti4600 driver installation only get 16 color, safe mode, system hang and NVIDA Control Panel options only shows enable - will not enable - Help!!

it would help to know the rest of the system

gf 4 draw a lot of power what psu are you using

what combined 3.3 plus 5 volts does it quote

Hi,

This problem happens also when you had a non-nvidia card in there before....
The solution to that is by removing the HAL driver, check the device listing under system....
Should show something like ACPI-Compliant-PC (or something sumular), remove that driver and reboot...
When you reboot, all devices are detected again....
After that you can install the drivers and they should work fine....
