Hi all,I'm ADmodz.

This is my latest project,sponsored by MSI,Corsair,Scan Computers,Alphacool,Mayhems,To The Wire Custom Sleeving.
I've taken 2 corsair Carbide Air 240 cases and made them into 1.Hence the name AIR480

System specs:-
X99 platform
Motherboard:- Asus ROG Strix x99 Gaming
CPU :- I7-6800k
GPU:- Msi GTX1080ti FE sli
Memory :- corsair Dominator Platinum
M.2 :- corsair Force MP500 480 gig
SSD:- 2 x 480 gig corsair Nuetron XTI
FANS :- 6 x corsair HD120
PSU:- corsair RM1000i

Watercooling:-
CPU BLOCK:- EK Supremacy x99
Gpu blocks :- EK GTX 1080ti
RADS:- 2 x EK Coolstream XE 240
PUMPS :- 2 x EK-XTOP Revo D5 PWM - Plexi
RES:- 2 x EK-RES X3 250
Hardline tubing:- Alphacool 13/10 acrylic
FITTINGS:- Alphacool Eiszapfen 13 mm chrome

Well I've got the cases stripped down and it's time to start chopping them up.
I'll start with the front and side windows,and the bottom side vents.

That's the centre panels removed,now we have a nice large area to work with.

Now I have the window reveals done.plenty of viewing angles now,but the chassis has lost some strength.so I will add some aluminium angle under the motherboard tray.this will stiffen it back up.

That's it now for a couple of days,got to get a clients build done.catch you all soon.

Well today got interesting,time to see how steady my hands are when doing fine cuts.
A few little marks,but nothing a sand and a blob of body filler will sort out.
That's the 2 front windows cut and the side panel windows.
Little bit of tidying up,but starting to look like the vision in my head now.

Just bits of sanding to do now and I can weld the 2 case halves together and install the support frame under the motherboard tray.

AIR480 case feet have finally arrived.
These are stereo system isolation feet,perfect size and design for this build.
I will be painting these matte black and will be running a gloss orange stripe in each groove.
Happy chappy.
I've also made a new case floor,this will add even more strength to the case.Ive made it out of 4 mm thick aircraft aluminium,I dropped it off at my buddies to have the air vents lasered in.pictures soon...

Well managed to get the case panels done ready for hydro graphics.
Holes have been filled that are not needed.
And a good sand all over.
The new aluminium floor is still at the laser guru's, but looking fantastic.

Well the new case floor is completed,I've gave it a brushed aluminium effect and it's had 2 coats of clear lacquer.
I choose a ladder vent design,this is for the rad each side and the psu in the centre.
Plenty of ventilation now.......

Well I've just delivered the case panels to the hydro graphics guru.
Whilst other parts of the build are drying and waiting for return,I got a few brackets made for the EK-XTOP pumps.
Not a lot of heaight in the basement of AIR480,so had to keep the pumps as low as possible.
So I got 4 corner braces from screwfix (82p) and a few mods later I had the perfect height needed.

Also my 3M PCIE 3.0 Gpu riser cables arrived from Digi-Key.
Thanks guys for getting these to me promptly.
And a huge massive thank you to Nessie Analytics for making the perfect length needed.
A true gent and craftsman.

whilst the case panels are at the hydro guru,I thought I would get the case feet painted.
The matte black will compliment the hydro graphic colour.and with the gloss orange stripe,it will all tie together nicely.

Well the fluids arrived today,massive thank you to Mayhems Solutions for supporting the AIR480 project.

I've got the case panels back off the hydro graphics guru,absolutely stunning job.just what I asked for,
But I'll let you see them very soon.
It's acrylic time........
Well a whole Saturday and Sunday doing acrylic
I used my buddies laser machine to get the perfect cuts and holes.
AIR480 has been lined out with gloss black acrylic,the window reveals have had strips of acrylic welded on.This will give all the windows a framed look
Now this is done its time for assembly.

Hi all
Sorry for the lack of updates,likes been hectic.
Arranging to move house and new business premises.
Well got all the acrylic done and motherboard all mounted back into the chassis,I've got the 2 EK 250 res bolted down and a few of the passthrough in place.
Also the custom made cables from To The Wire Custom Sleeving,they are all in place now.love them.thanks Michael Sheppard.
I've got some new silver and black aluminium cable combs on the cables as well.

Fittings,extensions,acrylic tubing have arrive from Alphacool.
Now everything is here,I can start the final assembly and get this build finished.

Well I'm waiting for the 1080ti to arrive,so this gave me chance to get the cpu loop finished and leak tested.

Hi all.
Well I've kept you waiting long enough now,here's the case panels.
They have done a great job and very professional team.
I had a little extra done as well,a quick trip to the laser machine,corsair logo came out perfectly.
I've attached some diamond mesh behind the corsair logo,This logo is also adding ventilation to the basement where the radiators are.
I've also installed the 3mm thick clear acrylic windows,I've done a video and will get it uploaded to my YouTube channel.

Hi all.
Well AIR480 had a great response when it was in the corsair stand at i61.
Lots of people asking great questions on how I designed and built her.

Since the show,AIR480 has had a complete strip,clean,flush through and new fluids in the loops.
I made the clear orange loop a little darker,now I'm happy.....
