Hello everyone, I am my wits end and would like to hear any helpful suggestions.

I have a ALPHA 17 C7VG Gaming Laptop (AMD Ryzen 9 7945X with Radeon Graphics Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, 32 GB RAM, MS-17KK Motherboard), which functions perfectly well well not playing certain high-end demanding games. When I start certain games (examples include Total Warhammer 3, Spacemarine 2 and Star Wars Outlaws) after a certain amount of time, the fans become incredibly loud and the CPU throttles to 0,5 GHZ, which only returns back to normal once I restart the computer. I have already reinstalled Windows, done a BIOS update (I have the newest BIOS) and even sent my laptop to the official MSI Support for repair, but they sent back the laptop saying they had found a problem with my BIOS/Firmware which they claimed to have solved but didnt. They also said I had no issues with my hardware so I dont know what to do next. Any help would be nice.

That's a driver crash or high temperature crash. Monitor your temperatures with for instance HWiNFO64.

At what temperatures should I consider it too high to cause such throttling? I have been monitoring the temperatures, I don't see them exceeding 80-85 degrees celsius at any point really. What do you mean by a driver crash?

Did you check on HWiNFO64 the max temperatures, if there was some high peaks. Do you have the latest Nvidia driver? If it's the latest have you tried older ones? Nvidia tends to sometimes offer partly problematic drivers...Running GPU-Z on the background and logging to file you can see what's happening in the GPU temperatures and clocks.
